It has UTF-8 instead of ASCII.

I think it's awesome, but the developers have somewhat of a weird attitude towards fixing usability issues because they would prefer the compiler to stay simple rather than the language to be easier to use. I think I'll use it more when it matures and perhaps Go2 is released.

Isn't it open-sourced?

Yeah but not many people are willing to work on it... yet.
