I wanna have music in my game, and I got the .wav for it so I just need to upload it somewhere

It's really hard to find a site that allows remote linking, as Jacob_ said. Your best bet is to find a site with uploaded .wav's already, such as: http://www.moviesoundscentral.com/
If you do find a good uploading site that works though, make sure to tell us.

I uploaded it to mediafire, and put the URL into the Sound object, but then game.World.Sound:play() still played the beep sound

It DID -- if you right click the Download Now button and select Properties and use that as the URL. It's where I put my MIDIs for my place -- not sure if it will work anymore though.
