This lighting glitch happens on every other chapter, do I have to re-install HL2?

Really? Because there are no dynamic lights and no shadows in the game except for the ones the characters give off.

Oh. I usually don't pay attention to Shadows anyways. Try messing with the game graphics (lowering/heightening) or you could play without them. :o

Maybe it's one of those games which doesn't display things like dynamic lighting unless your graphics card can handle it
