Ming-Yan's demotion - Qwertygiy - 08-09-2011 I really don't get why he was demoted. The CubeBombians are saying he doesn't have a reputation for spamming there -- and I've certainly never seen any spam by him anywhere. As for his moderating decisions -- no worse than mine. Yes, he was inactive for a week or two -- but me and Login and Scripter have been semi-inactive for periods of months and nothing happened. I just want to have some examples of why he was demoted. RE: Ming-Yan's demotion - Login - 08-09-2011 I have seen him act a little "loose" a few times, although that's the only reason I could see why. RE: Ming-Yan's demotion - Ashely - 08-09-2011 He wasn't ready to be a moderator. RE: Ming-Yan's demotion - Fat_Sacks - 08-09-2011 What? Have ANY of you guys looked at Fire's or Land's moderating history? I think they forgot they were mods. Also, I think his demotion was really unfair because neather Jacob nor Ashely discussed the demotion with the rest of the mods or the community. RE: Ming-Yan's demotion - Fat_Sacks - 08-09-2011 No, I'm not blaming you for anything. RE: Ming-Yan's demotion - Ashely - 08-09-2011 Interwebs, Ming was just the first..I have others in mind. I just haven't done anything yet because Jacob isnt online. RE: Ming-Yan's demotion - Fat_Sacks - 08-09-2011 Well if anyone is getting demoted others should have a say in it. RE: Ming-Yan's demotion - Login - 08-09-2011 The Community Manager has the say in moderators - not the moderators. Moderators moderate. Not make community decisions. RE: Ming-Yan's demotion - Fat_Sacks - 08-09-2011 Moderators are a part of the community. The community is part of itself aswell. |
