There's really no point right now. There would have to be a reward for ambassadors and the only thing I could think of off the top of my head would be extra game slots.

Here, they're called achievements, not badges.
And Jacob_ has tried stuff like that -- we do have referrals when you sign up -- but nobody's gotten more than about 3 other people to join legitimately.
