That's a flash game, Action script is a lot simpler than Java.

Well... yeah it is possible to make flowing water in java but.... since java and AS3 or AS2 are so different it wouldn't work.

I might add a UI for doing this in the next few days that allows you to change the smoothness of the terrain.

I'm not smart enough to make flowing water. Tongue I could make a bunch of frictionless particles with special rendering and call that water... but then there's surface tension and buoyancy and all that stuff people go to college for years to study. Big Grin

Oh boy then I can't wait to help you with that. I'll study things such as velocity. Velocity is a key feature to water. Viscosity is the proper term, though. Running down any hill, or angle...that means physics.
