How about adding a "Offset" property to labels that would let you make them above, below, or on a part? You could choose the y distance.

Definitely. I'd love that feature - would come in handy for signs and bots and things better later on! ^^

I think the X distance would also be nice.

I'd like it, although I wouldn't use it for a while.
