And with this new box size limit I can't make a triangle that looks good....
The box size limit is 1 PIXEL at the default zoom level. There's no reason to make boxes that are smaller than the smallest unit your screen can display...

I think a use for triangles are tidying things up - for example, making a perfect house roof. Another great example of a triangle use is for decorations, and perhaps a cool combination when combined with a box.
