The most games I have ever bought in a year is 5. All of which were old PC Games at around £5. I did buy Civilization V last year for £20, so on average. £22.50

Wait, now that I think of it, I only spend ~35$ on games because my last estimate was 200-300$ because I was counting the games I get on iTunes for my iPad.
