A tornado passed through Moore, Oklahoma completely leveling it and destroying two elementary schools. They've been searching for children in the wreckage for hours now...

Oddly enough, I found out about it from the twitter feeds reposted on NASCAR.com at around 6 PM.
I've always hated tornadoes. It's fortunately very rare that one forms that wide for that long, but when it does... devastation. It's a terrible, terrible disaster.

I found out about it on the news, the usual way. But yes, I've never heard of one that large.

Let's hope it's not as bad as this one in the early 1900s was, which killed 69 students, among 695 total deaths...
