Why not to suggest "Voice chat" - BuildistGuard - 02-21-2011

There are many reasons why not to suggest "Voice chat". Here are the reasons below why not to have Voice chat:

1. There could be many little kids screaming in the microphone.

2. They could make you go to bad websites.

3. They could curse at you in any language(e.g Spanish,Chinese,German,Japanese,etc.)

4.It would be almost impossible to moderate without a translator.

5. It would also be too expensive and could make Buildism go bankrupt.

6. This is a building community site, not a chat suite.

7: Almost NOBODY has the USB headphone stuff, and its too expensive for many of us.

8: This is BUILDISM. We barely have 250 members. Even 15-million-user ROBLOX doesn't have voice chat.

It's almsot impossible too have chat like that on a games,the only way to talk wifi is skype,cell phone,and Xbox 360.And I don't think Builidism is gonn make internet history for a while.

9. Voice chat takes too much bandwidth
10. Public voice chat is just asking for trouble (mic spam, swearing, foreign languages, little kids, etc), and Ventrilo, Teamspeak and Skype are good for private chat.

And I really don't see how voice chat would fit in Buildism; we at least shouldn't worry about it now.
