Can you use GIFs in your signature or is that why mine isn't working?

The problem is that your link goes to http//www.anime-kun.net/anim_gifs/gifs/one_piece35.gif. Add a colon after http.

Thanks for the help but I had already countered the problem by deleting the http. already there.

Jacob_ is right, you should add a colon after http. That is how the link works.
