That being a moderator is the best thing that has happened to them.
In some ways it is.
It isn't in other ways.
You patrol the site 24/7 looking for inappropriate content, help users, and solve problems and look in report logs.

You have to make sure the site is in good shape.
Being a moderator is a challenge, and Jacob chose the people he would think would do the best for the job, so stop complaining if you aren't a mod.
I worked hard to be a mod, am I one? No. Do I cry and complain? No, instead I'm being a good sport and congratulating the people who got it.
