I'm gonna give it a shot later - keep in mind, the community is tiny but it looks interesting.

I also know of another cool looking game called Tiny Plumbers that is in early or pre-alpha.

I've been following TP from the beginning; It's released.
Also the same dev has been making another rogue-like 3d sidescroller dungeon game with dynamic lighting

I used to frequent their once popular game Neverdaunt8bit.
I still don't know why the site was shut down for major updates, it won't be back up for a LONG TIME.
Also void, what is the 3D game called?

It was either Walrus, TaxRevenue or something else, I don't remember anymore because it's been so long.
