There should be no surprised that people will be disappointed, rage, whine, or cry about it.
Another note, don't punish alts for previous actions, that is a punishment which is not allowed in our government. (using the same thing more than once to punish someone as separate charges)
So only punish an alt if the alt broke a rule.

-Don't create alternate accounts to break the rules.
This rule does not mean punish the alts of someone who was punished.
It means punish an alt if they continue to do bad on their alt.
For example, Username didn't spam, he debated about his ban which is allowed and it did not turn into a flame war. However, the mods banned him, why? Because he is Kieron's alt.

No Kieron's ban is only justified in my book when there is some type of post for the universal meaning of what "spam" is.
