Don't be like other sites, because they're popular and have an excuse to not let things slip. We don't. We need to be more lenient - discuss to the user in PM before warning them, or locking a thread, be more lenient for the sake of more people! I do understand your point although a warning is given to be a less "min" punishment for the user if he/sher has not got in trouble before. Plus we can also explain why in the warning. Locking threads should be on point, I dont think someone who is getting flamed wants to see that thread open about them.
