Let some things slip. Don't be like other sites, because they're popular and have an excuse to not let things slip. We don't. We need to be more lenient - discuss to the user in PM before warning them, or locking a thread, be more lenient for the sake of more people!

Maybe PM them before warning or banning but I don't think so for locking/deleting threads/post.

Erm, Ice, I agree with ban, but we've got to stop being so strict as of now, a lot of people think moderation is really strict, and fire is considering quitting because of this. And so are some others.

I actually think we need to be more strict, on some things that is.

I do understand your point although a warning is given to be a less "min" punishment for the user if he/sher has not got in trouble before. Plus we can also explain why in the warning.

Locking threads should be on point, I dont think someone who is getting flamed wants to see that thread open about them.
