How can i get the "Sound" object working? - Anti - 04-23-2011 Im trying to get my current fav song into my game, but im unable to get it working... I put this Yay as the Sound property for the Sound, and used game.World.Sound:play()... but it wont start playing Q_Q Any helpz? RE: How can i get the "Sound" object working? - AK-47 - 04-23-2011 I believe Buildism can only play wavs. Orrr, maybe the game had to "download" the whole file first, maybe try a couple minutes after loading? RE: How can i get the "Sound" object working? - Anti - 04-23-2011 I cant find a site that I can upload 17 megas big wav to... >_> RE: How can i get the "Sound" object working? - AK-47 - 04-23-2011 I can't find a site that can upload wav. RE: How can i get the "Sound" object working? - Anti - 04-23-2011 http://antisserver.servegame.com/Audio/turret.wav Gotta host it myself >_> RE: How can i get the "Sound" object working? - Rare - 04-23-2011 Ask Jacob_, he may know. RE: How can i get the "Sound" object working? - AK-47 - 04-24-2011 Since you host it yourself, why can't you just try hosting it as a wav? I don't think there's a limit if you own the server. RE: How can i get the "Sound" object working? - Rare - 04-24-2011 Hosting yourself is hard. You have to keep your computer on all the time. If it turns off, so does the website. RE: How can i get the "Sound" object working? - Anti - 04-24-2011 AK, it worked when i hosted it, but not with others... I cant find a 24/7 FREE host that allows me to upload 17 megas big wav file that works in buildism. I cant keep my comp on 24/7, and I dont feel like keeping my "website" up all the time RE: How can i get the "Sound" object working? - Jacob__mybb_import1 - 04-25-2011 You can use .aif files, I think they are smaller than .wav. |
