Either you aren't doing it right or your Java installation is messed up, and I'm not the best one to ask about that. You could try going to Start>Run, typing "psr" and hitting enter, and then clicking Start Record, doing whatever you did to get the blank Java console to show up, then clicking Stop Record and posting or PMing the resulting .zip file as an attachment.
