I think there should be a hide button next to the refresh button on the new "Forum stats" box.

It's at the very bottom. I'm sure there's nothing left under the bottom. Unless you'd prefer the "Who's Online" Above the stats.

No, the Forum Statistics is at the very bottom. It's not a bother there, so it doesn't need to be shrunk.

We have a minimize button for, "Buildism", "Off Topic", and "Board Statistics".
You don't think we should have one for "Forum stats"?

We could plan to move the Board Statistics above it. This is a pre-coded forum. I believe Jacob_ coded the Forum Stats.
