Depends on what you like. If you're a programmer or builder, try the editor. If you're an artist, make some skins. If you're a writer, check out the Wiki. If you're a good socializer, hang out in the forums.

As long as it's not too gruesome, doesn't copy an existing skin too closely, and doesn't involve nudity it should be fine.
