In a year from now, how many users do you estimate we'll have? - Walrus - 11-12-2012

And in a year from now, how many ACTIVE users do you predict we'll have, too?

If things don't take off with a boom, anywhere from 1,000 to 3,000 registered is a decent guess, and anywhere from 25 to 100 active users is a good amount of active users.

If we do 'get popular', though, who knows?

Well Jacob_ did say that he is getting money from google and is planning on using 500$ from google to advertise. I think we'd get a lot more than that since 500$ IS a lot. Not to mention, many sites like Blockland for instance, only spends 1-10$ monthly on advertising and they are able to get 20-100 new people to join Blockland weekly (keep in mind it's pay-to-play and you gotta pay to join and play of course).

Well, Blockland is already well-known and has been around for 5 years. They have word-of-mouth status, not just paid advertising.

Blockland became popular because many ROBLOX-users used to talk about how much they hated it and caused a "forum raid" on it on Blockland, that was when Badspot (Eric Hartman) the sites owner made everything premium.
Also, how would we gain a "word-of-mouth" status?

The same amount of actives we have now.
1,000 spam accounts.

We already gained one new active member since the site reset. Just because you hate change doesn't mean everyone does.

And who would that be?
Also, I didn't say anything about hating this site on this post. Please don't bring other posts into this.

There's a lot more going on than you think. http://2dworlds.org/community.php

Maybe if you got off the forum for once you'd notice. According to the stats you haven't visited the main part of the site in at least 24 hours...

Invader is a close-minded arrogant pinhead.
The site seems to be pretty active so far, so good.
