It's a banner of Vexillum - Jacob_ the creator of 2DWorlds made the game.
Do you think this will promote, benefit or gain players at all to Jacob_'s other site? I quite frankly don't since most ACTIVE 2DWorld'ers have already joined it.

2DWorlds still gets a lot of random visitors that don't stay from the 2+ years of links to it and Buildism scattered around the internet. The banner is mostly for them, I don't expect many of the 2DWorlds members to join since it's a very different kind of game.

I agree, many random people tend to find us through searching sandbox games.
