I do think it is. Sometimes the translation comes out odd but for simple sentences I think it will work.

I guess so if you feel like you need to speak grammatically correct English.
Lots of people on the Internet fail to use punctuation, and capitalization, and like to resort to abbreviations.
Although I do make mistakes, I prefer to speak correctly, as it is correct.
