A Poem of Buildism - simonheros - 08-10-2011
The site is falling as if it were a boulder
We're feeling as if
We're getting the cold shoulder
We are the peasants
Being told we're free
But we question that
As if we were a democracy
The site has potential
But as one we rebel
And join our own sides
From happiness to denial
We are two of the same
And unique to the twist
Some quite insane
But our minds locked behind the rain
It pours as the light recedes to the back
We have left and returned
Veterans of our war
Where are we now?
I am scared of progress
The world is questioning me
We're all leaving
And the authority will be a re-enactment to Congress
Feeling a deep sadness we're an oval
We don't fit together
So we've become part of a square
Authority recedes
We mourn and abuse our freedom
It's a chain of life
I wonder if there was a knife behind it all
to stick behind our backs...

There are a lot of bad things though... And not necessarily a lot of good (community-wise).
I mean we have our fun moments. But recently... It's all drama.
I've rage quit 4 times. And every time I come back we've changed.

I don't care as much as it sometimes seems (partially because of all of the ad revenue that comes from the forum
). But I do think that a lot of the drama here comes from over-usage of the forum, and if there was more game-making then people could talk about that instead of having to create their own forum entertainment.Also, it really does sadden me when people like the game but don't play it because the community looks bad to them, and I've seen that happen.
