DVCS - noob007 - 08-18-2011 Are you working on some big project, and every now and then forget to back up and accidentally delete an important file or write something silly, wasting hours of work? Well, it's about time you start using a Distributed Version Control System. It tracks your changes, allows viewing the history of changes of files in your project, and allows for easy synchronizing to a remote server. It also makes it easy for many people to work on the project. I use Mercurial for many of my projects. RE: DVCS - Chaos - 08-19-2011 I use Mercurial for a company i work for called NovaCitrus (novacitrus.com) And it works GREAT! RE: DVCS - noob007 - 08-19-2011 NovaCitrus? Looks interesting. RE: DVCS - Chaos - 08-19-2011 Yes I do get paid silly. I'm 14. And you need to know a few programming languages. RE: DVCS - noob007 - 08-19-2011 Nice. Is everyone who works there around your age?
