I have some suggestions for the Buildism site chat. They're listed in what I think would be a good priority order, from top to bottom.
  • Minimize This button would let us completely remove the chat bar from our window except for that button, which clicked again would reopen the bar.
  • Minor BBcodes So we can have bold text, hyperlinks, colored text, underlined text, italicized text, striked text, and possibly some emoticons or other small things.
  • Private chat This would let users chat to only a few other selected users. At the moment, private messages or regular chat are almost as effective, but it's a good idea to have ready if (or when) the site gets back to its pre-August activity levels.
