2 MP Bugs - Paradox - 11-06-2011

1. Incorrect positions of blocks sent to clients.

This is the major of the two. The block positions sent (or received by) to the clients are different than the actual positions serverside. I have experienced it personally on my own server. It doesn't start to happen after about 10-15 minutes for me.


2. Deleting blocks on servers.

This is based on bug #1, but it has to do specifically with deleting blocks. It may not be a priority, but better safe than sorry. When the block positions are incorrectly sent, the Player (If he/she has a deleting tool) can delete blocks that are meant to not be deleted or even found. This opens a window to cheaters if, by coincidence, a block they aren't supposed to gets positioned to a reachable area.
