My skins - Weperlol - 02-03-2012 hi can anyone try out my skins and give me some tips if you want me to make the skin you want just tell me and il see if i can btw im in my way to be good skin maker im still noob :embarassed: RE: My skins - Qwertygiy - 02-03-2012 Here's some suggestions for you. 1: If you're using Microsoft Paint, try to get a more advanced graphics program so that you can do things like transparency and smooth gradients. Paint.net and GIMP are good free choices. 2: The pencil tool is your friend, and so is shading. Try making slightly lighter or darker variants of one color and using them in small amounts in certain areas, making it look textured, like the sleeves and pants of my skin. 3: Detail, detail, detail! If you have a big square that's all or nearly all one identical color, it's usually going to look somewhat dull. 4: Try uploading your skin as your character at http://buildism.net/changecharacter.php before you publish it to the skins catalog -- this way you can see how it will look without officially publishing versions that may be aligned wrong or just plain weird looking. RE: My skins - dominate - 02-04-2012 They are decent... I think |
