I personally supported SOME of Hitler's beliefs.
Of course, you'd try to gain land if:
You had your navy stripped down due to jelly empirefags
Lost your empire
Was nearly starved to death
Had supposed allies fight you
Got the Amerifags to have your land lost

Hitler was a lunatic, but almost every German shared THOSE beliefs.
The whole reason that it got started was that the Allies were too harsh on Germany after WWI. The reparations were way too much for Germany to handle even before the stock market crash of 1929 and the Great Depression worsened it hundreds of times over.

The thing was that Germany was on ruins after WWI, they were poor and without hope, sudenly this man comes up to fill their hearts with blind pride, and they followed
