Mods - Know When The Next Moderator Election Is?
#1
I really would love to be a moderator.
Just wondering if there was a set election or whether it's just random.

It's whenever we need more mods.

Or, if the 'first' one was anything to go by, two weeks after we need them Tongue

Oh, okay.
Well, is there a way to track a thread, in case my application comes important at a later date?

There are not any "elections" to be a moderator; we are not a real life democratic nation.
We are a puny online physics sandbox that is under a dictatorship by the great Jacob_.
All choices are made by him (our great leader).

You know, that would actually be an interesting concept to implement. I know that it sounds silly to talk about "democracy" on a private website, but I think it would really bring the community together to have nominal figures and sitewide voting threads. We could make it our own little tradition and we would celebrate with discussion, multiplayer parties, and free expression.

I really hope you guys consider this, because unless something is recognized by the mods or Jacob_, nothing will ever come out of anything.

Myem, it would tarnish the community and everyone wouldn't be satisfied.
There is no need for a "virtual democracy"; we have to be kept civilized.
