It's because there are too many connections and the host doesn't allow more than a certain number.

"59 users active in the past 15 minutes (9 members, 0 of whom are invisible, and 50 guests)."

A lot of the guests are the googlebot... it's using 40+ IP addresses at the same time to crawl the site. Sad
