2 + 2 = Fish because Fish has 4 letters.

2 + 2 = 4.

Fish has 4 characters/letters. This means that it's correct.

That's kinda like saying 2 + 2 = 12 because two has 3 letters and twelve has 6.

No it's because when you mirrour a 2 and put them together, you get a fish.
That is why 3+3 = eight.
