Lower the censoring, please.

I've been seeing this from all users - many bad words intended, but are being censored from the filter. Please lower the swearing a notch, this is a warning. I'll give you one warning from this post (instead of two) before I warn you.

But isn't that what the censor is for...?

Yes, but the word itself pops into mind - we don't need that.

Yeah, otherwise the whole "swear words" rule wouldn't even be needed. Wink

Yeah I see people do it all the time. There all *beep* this *beep* that with a censor. Its almost the same thing as saying the word but getting it past the filter.

Everyone knows about swear words, just watch TV at night and you will hear them. I learned swear words at age 8. Just let us use our censor blocks and get over it. It is using our own base generic filter for interpreting words. We have our rights to say them, but I do not think its unfair we can't use crude words. But we can and will use swear boxes like this [censored].

There are a few cases in which the filter goes a bit overboard. For instance, the two sentences I'm about to type have the same essential meaning:

"I skinned my knee the other day."

"I scraped my knee last week."
