Like the holes in the cheese skin.
When I add an alpha channel, my skin ends up all weird. (look at my character)
And when I fill it with black...it shows up..black.

here is how you make semi-invisible skins:
to use this technology, you must have paint.net. then when you pick a color, pick it and go to "more", in the colors box. there will be something saying "transparency-Alpha. you have just to choose how much transparency you want in that color! then color the part of that skin. do it to every colors you are going to use. then, you have made a semi-transparent skin. done.

On paint.net, go to the "magic wand" tool. Click on the part that you want to delete, it should highlight a little bit (you may need to adjust the tolerance). After you've clicked on it, and it's highlited, press DELETE on your keyboard. It should then appear as gray and white boxes. Those gray and white boxed indicate that it's transparent.
