Apparently, the reason we're having to do all these extra things with Java Web Start is to be cross platform. Unfortunately, it isn't. It seems to me that we're doing all the extra steps for nothing. It's probably less cross platform than the other ways of launching a Java app. Currently, when I try to start the game, it errors. So this game doesn't work on Ubuntu 11.04, Linux.
And mods, if you think this is flaming, you really need to learn the definition of flaming. This is feedback.

I tested it on Mac, but not Linux. What error do you get?
