Reenactment is a new series for my blog!
REMEMBER MODERATORS WHO KNOW THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN WITH THE REPORTS PART WHERE YOU GET LIKE 5 REPORTS, THIS IS FOR WHEN IT GETS FAMOUS!
I am often faced with difficult challenges, such as "how long do I warn this user" or "how long should I ban this user" or "is this an offense?" and then I wonder how people think it's awesome to be a moderator. So, here's my reenactment: You make the moderator job! At first, you take a glimpse around. The controls confuse you. You have a very heavy weight on your shoulders, especially when you first become a moderator, all the controls are unfamiliar, and they seem rather unfriendly. You feel much pressure at first. When you do get used to it, a few days later, you are faced with a challenge: a user does something not mentioned in the rules, but inappropriate, thus, you have a hard time deciding what to do. When you do decide, you decide to warn the user. Now you have to know how long to warn the user until it expires, and for what reason, and set it up. After that, you are tumbled with 5 reports. Instantly, you feel normal. Another 4 pops up. You are soon overwhelmed with the choices. You don't want to quit, but eventually, something will happen... You can make up the rest from here.
