Which Buildism user is this?
I would say me, but the "Floating never sinking" part wouldn't make sense.

Maybe me?
At the ends of the world- Not sure.
But not in the middle- Lava is in the middle, not ice.
At heights and depths- Hail; Glacier.
Oft big, usually little- Glacier; Ice cube.
As common as dirt,- Not sure.
But deadly as venom,- Ummmm, choking?
Floating never sinking,- Ice floats.
I know that you've seen him.

At the ends of the world --The poles, north and south.
But not at the middle --Not at the core or the equator
At heights and depths --Mountaintops and ice caves
Oft big, usually little --Icebergs and icecubes
As common as dirt --Icecubes, frost, snow...
But deadly as venom --Hypothermia and frostbite, anyone?
Floating never sinking --Ice floats.
I know that you've seen him. --Duh.
