I think that if we had these features it would help out moderating quite a bit.
  • Registration IP of user. This would be on the user's forum profile.
  • Delete Username option in banning. If Permanent is selected for the ban, there should be a Delete Username button (that's what most perma-bans are for anyway.)
  • 5 Day IP Account Creation block. This way we could stop a persistent user from making lots of troll accounts.

I do not think this should be implemented. What if the moderator makes a mistake? What if the deletion was questionable?

If they ever get unbanned, the name would go back to whatever it was before.

I can do all of these, but I don't think there's a way to make them available to mods.
