Because now it seems that Java isn't really working for anything for me...

I've had this problem before.
I fixed it by making a new user account and used that for when i wanted to play java games.

It takes half an hour to load. Literally. It loads, but it shows the loading symbol for way, way, way too long.

I'm thinking it might just be an overall computer issue... I've defragged it, ran a Microsoft scan on it, and I've been doing a Malwarebytes scan on it -- nothing's come up yet.

Can you click the Java taskbar icon, then Open Console, then press 5 with the console window selected and tell me what it says while it is loading?

And it loaded! I don't know why it wasn't working before, but somewhere along the way it got slightly better.

Everything looks normal in that log, so you must have fixed something.
There used to be a bug where it would try to redownload everything from the server every time you played the game (even resources that don't exist on the server), so I was wondering if you were having a similar problem.

Somewhere between defragging the hard drive, scanning it twice, and installing MalwareBytes, it got fixed. AWSOME.
