Well, we've always been relatively lenient; basically, what it seems to me is if you were really involved with the site before you got permanently banned after several smaller bans and/or you got IP-banned, and you don't pester us too much about it (although it's fair to say Kieron and Eric have pestered us a bit much), you can get let back in on a new account in about 6 months or so, and then your main around a year after that.
