Anyway, an update on the original post:

He has been released from the hospital. They've finally disclosed what his injuries were: a concussion and internal bruising. It was very fortunate he hit the SAFER barrier (yes, that's an acronym; can't remember what exactly for) instead of sliding an extra 50 feet and hitting the concrete and metal wall.

This would of never happened if he was part of Team Open-Wheel. :lol:
