1) 0.8 seconds? Dude, a turret's activation time is 0.008 seconds.

2) It took the world's greatest scientists (and some of the worst) 10 years to design GLaDOS. And then she evolved on her own for at least 10 more. Sorry, no giant egg can outsmart her.

3) GLaDOS controls a nearly infinite array of pincers and lasers and panels and cameras. Who needs clones when you ARE everywhere?
