Xray has a good point. Wear the skin first. Close IE (or Chrome or FireFox or whatever you're using) and re-open it so that you can see it on you. If it looks right, upload it.
As for ones already made, Jacob just made a Delete button for them since I've had the same problem lots of times
Just click on the mismade skin and it should have a Delete button under the name of it. Although I have suggested a "Preview" before too -- it is a good idea.
