- Wheels
Putting a block of wood in the center of a 3x3 grid and putting stone (not cobblestone!) on the top, left, right, and bottom makes 2 wheels. Putting 3 wooden slabs horizontally on the grid makes 2 axles. Putting pistons on the top two rows and redstone on the bottom layer makes a motor. Then, when you craft this:
WHEEL - AXLE - WHEEL
MOTOR - STAIRS - LEVER
WHEEL - AXLE - WHEEL
you get a simple motor vehicle. It can drive up a 1/1 slope or less (stairs, hills, etc.) and goes almost as fast as a minecart on flat ground (6 m/s), goes as fast downhill (8 m/s), and goes slower uphill (4 m/s).
- Smallblocks
Crafting a potion with an iron ingot, gold ingot, and diamond gem (no particular order) gives you 8 Smallblocks. These cannot be placed on their own, but when placed in a crafting table, you can craft them with other blocks to make a unique block. The format is:
UPPER LEFT REAR - LOWER RIGHT REAR - UPPER RIGHT REAR
LOWER LEFT REAR - SMALLBLOCK - UPPER RIGHT FRONT
UPPER LEFT FRONT - LOWER LEFT FRONT - LOWER RIGHT FRONT
This makes a composite material that has the blocks placed in those spots of the crafting grid in the indicated places in the block it makes. Leaving a spot blank leaves that part of the composite block blank.
Using this, you can make more detailed, small-scale structures.
- Oil
A new fluid, which when stepped in acts like a Potion of Slowness, flows like Lava but doesn't burn anything, and can be collected in a bucket. There are so many things you could add using oil.
1.
Can be done, I just need to study the boat and minecart scripts
2.
Just need to make new blocks(easiest things) and look through brewing code.
3.
A bit of water and lava studying, and it's done :>
