I'm a racecar driver. I go around the track backwards slamming into the sides of ever car I meet. Why? So that I can get the most laps around the track. Why do I want to do that? To be proud of myself.

I'm a politician. I write thousands of bills each month. For example, "Proposal to Disallow Feline Consumption of Tuna in Southern Los Angeles" or "Proposal to Raise Tax on Toyota Headlights in Alabama". Why? So that I can be the writer of the most bills. Why do I want to do that? To be proud of myself.
