That sentence contradicts itself... Roblox is 3D so a 2D game can't be a copy of it.

The editor and the scripting is similar to Roblox's, but there are plenty of other differences: no Lego blocks, private servers, ability to use any sound/texture you want, particle systems, a more modern forum, and it's completely free.

Almost all games today "copy" parts of other games... it's not a big deal as long as you innovate.
