You can click the "Add A Comment" button on games, profiles, etc. without typing anything in the text box, and it will accept the comment. There should probably be some kind of minimum text limit on them to avoid this.

And no one has a problem with those types of comments. Everyone should be able to communicate the way they want to on their profile page and places. If it's actual spam, then just report it. Limiting expression to replicate forum etiquette on the rest of the site is a horrible idea.
