Unless Buildism gets as popular as Minecraft and needs a $500 per month server, we shouldn't have any problems.

Yes.

Or I could eliminate the website entirely and make it mostly decentralized, like a lot of other games are. There would probably be enough members by then that someone would be able to continue the community.

Yes.

I'd actually say run ads now. I'm sure users wouldn't mind - we've made the point across that you need money to run the site, and so you could add the ads at the bottom and top of the page, or on both sides of the page, or only on the Home page, or only on the Forum page somewhere.
