Box2D question...

Is Buildism using the native Box2D library through something like the JNI, or is it using a Box2D library that's been rewritten and compiled in Java?

So it's a complete rewrite in Java, I see.

Which I think is actually a really bad idea, since Java is quite slow for arithmetic operations.

What does that have to do with anything? And do you mean the Java bytecode files, or the Java VM?
