8GB flash drive = 12$
8GB micro SD card = $45

I thought smaller means easier to make which means it's cheaper...
Greedy SanDisk >:0

I saw that the other day to buy a mouse-pad.

Isn't that Staples?

Micro SD Card is more compressed so more money? Not necessarily smaller is easier I guess...

It must be easy enough considering Apple can do it every year while still maintaining the same prices.

True but Apple is a bigger industry then Micro SD Card manufacturers. So while they can make TONS of iPod Touch's and stuff. Micro SD Card companies are looking for more profit to pay-off the amount of cards they make to cover ones that don't sell? I dunno @.@

But I do hate SanDisk, because all of their flash drives come with annoying U3 junk... I just want an empty disk, not a bloated program that takes 2 minutes to load.

It's sort of the opposite...

It's smaller, so it takes more work to put all the tiny pieces together.

Just get a smaller flash drive. My grandpa has an 8 gb drive about the size of an SD disk and it cost about 25 dollars.
